2015 NIMS Thematic Program on Combinatorics
The NIMS thematic program in 2015 will lay the foundations for establishing Combinatorics in Korea. It aims to bring together mathematicians, statisticians, computer scientists, physicists, economists, and engineers from various disciplines in order to enhance interactions, generate new applications and motivate further progress. A group of distinguished international experts in Combinatorics will be in residence at NIMS. They will conduct seminars and research groups, and engage in collaborative efforts with the permanent staff at NIMS, and other institutions in Korea and neighboring Asia.
The 2015 NIMS Thematic Program on Combinatorics (TPC 2015) will take place at NIMS in Daejeon, Korea, from May to July, 2015. The thematic program will consist of visiting research, intensive courses, conferences, workshops, seminars, and support of academic next generation. The topics of this thematic program are covered by FPSAC, in particular, combinatorics and their relations with other parts of mathematics, physics, computer science, and biology.
The large annual international conference on Formal Power Series and Algebraic Combinatorics (FPSAC 2015) is scheduled to take place at KAIST in July 2015.
